Rossi, Democrats and politics in the park
Dino Rossi was in town this week and spoke to a Farm Bureau gathering.
The Democrats sent someone with a camera to record the speech at Kirby Billingsley Hydro Park. The Republicans or Farm Bureau apparently didn’t want it recorded.
Here’s a video, produced and posted by Democrats. What do you think?

I’m just so tired of people like Rossi pulling these sleazy tactics. What is he afraid of?
Not sure I understand this:
In a public park, two public entities roped off a section of the park for their private use…is that correct?
And because one of the public entities is an announced, GOP candidate for the office of Governor of the state, the WA State Democratic Party sent someone with a video camera to attempt to video the candidate’s speech…is that correct?
Was this an invitation only event to members of a specific group or organization? Or was this a public rally for the candidate?
“Sleazy tactics?” The only sleazy tactics being pulled are the Democrats trying to videotape Dino to make attack videos. Did you ever wonder why the Democrats brought a camera to the event, Moderate?
Also, just FYI, I was at the event, and there was a fee to get in. Can you blame the Farm Bureau for not wanting people to watch their event for free?
So there was a fee to get in? Or was it “donation requested”? Most candidates are happy to get anyone to come and listen. A Dem could be persuaded to change his/her vote. Or an ‘undecided’…who knows? I don’t think the entire Farm Bureau is made up of Republicans. And if you don’t want onlookers, why meet in a public park?
